Needs:
1/2 yd Shannon Embrace Solid - Sand for blocks
1/2 yd Shannon Embrace Solid - Silver for blocks
1 yd Shannon Embrace Natural Arrow for blocks
1/2 yd Shannon Embrace Natural Arrow for binding
1-1/3 yd Shannon Embrace for backing
Batting of choice
Cutting:
From Sand solid cut 4 strips 4” x wof (width of fabric)
From Silver solid cut 4 strips 4” x wof
From Natural Arrow cut 8 strips 4” x wof
Binding cut 2-1/2“ strips x wof
Sewing:
Piece strips together, alternating arrow print with solid sand and arrow print with solid silver. Press seams in a consistant direction.
Subcut strips 4” wide, rotate every other strip 180
degrees and sew back together, creating your blocks.
Make 6 Natural Arrow + Sand blocks
Make 6 Natural Arrow + Silver blocks
Layout blocks in a 3 x 4 array, alternating Sand and Silver blocks. Sew blocks together, then rows together. Layer with backing and batting, quilt as desired and bind.

I’ve also done this pattern with 11 different prints
and out of Shannon Cuddle.
Needs:
1/4 yd of 11 different Shannon Cuddle prints
1/2 yd of Shannon Cuddle main print
1/2 yd Shannon Cuddle for binding
Cutting:
From each of the 11 Shannon Cuddle prints cut 2 strips 4” x wof
From main Shannon Cuddle print cut 4 strips 4” x wof
Binding cut 2-1/2” strips x wof
Sewing:
Use the same method above, pairing up strip sets. Sub cutting then making blocks.
